For $595 trip plus estimated $500 flight you can servce in Acapulco, Mexico. Acapulco is most often thought of as a resort city for tourists, however it holds one of the poorest populations in Mexico. Just minutes from the Downtown district, one will find themselves surrounded by desperate need.
CHIA partners with local churches and villages in the outskirts of Acapulco. Missions to this site include opportunities to build a church, work in a Christian School, serve in a orphanage, and operate a Medical, Dental Clinic; all while evangelizing the people of Acapulco.
Missionaries will be housed in a hotel, and eat at a local restaurant.
The last day of the mission will include an opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of Acapulco.
This is an excellent opportunity to minister in Mexico, while seeing behind the curtain; challenging our hearts and minds about the world in which we live.
Missionaries fly into Acapulco, Mexico on Wednesday, where they are met by CHIA staff, and serve Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday will be spent on the beaches of Acapulco, with a Sunday morning departure.
